Twin jewellery shows scale up as city fully opens
Global participants return with eye-catching treasures
28 February 2023 - The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSAR) has completely lifted the mask mandate and the city is returning to normal. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is planning a number of large-scale exhibitions and activities, including the 39th HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and 9th HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show which will run at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from tomorrow to 5 March. The twin treasure shows, the latest round of physical large-scale trade fairs, provide a face-to-face business platform for exhibitors and buyers, helping companies capture global business opportunities.
This year’s twin jewellery shows will bring more than 2,500 companies from 36 countries and regions. The shows will feature 20 group pavilions including those from Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, Türkiye, Israel, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia the United States and others. The Jewellery Show will gather local and international jewellery brands and precious works from all over the world in 17 product zones, while the Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will showcase premium quality diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls. The shows will include activities and seminars where industry professionals can communicate and capture industry information and trends. Topics include “Bling Up Your Business with Blockchain & NFT” (1 March), “Hong Kong Jewellery Industry Shines over the World” (2 March), “Updated Market Trend of Jewellery Market in ASEAN markets” (2 March), “Jewellery Industry: Go Smart and Green” (4 March), “Jewellery Enameling: The Techniques” (4 March) and more.
