7 autumn trade fairs press conference held next Tuesday

Preview of latest HKTDC events ready to unlock opportunities

12 October 2021 – October is traditionally the peak sourcing season. This year, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is bringing its seven autumn trade fairs* together into one “physical + online” platform to present an array of the most recent and best tech products to buyers. The physical fairs will run from 27 to 30 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), while the online fairs will be held from 27 October to 6 November as part of a continued effort to create diverse business opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and help them cement new deals amid the pandemic.

The pandemic has dealt a serious blow to local businesses, but at the same time has also created opportunities for new product development. The latest policy address suggested developing Hong Kong into an international innovation and technology hub which will create huge potential for innovative new products from local manufacturers.

The HKTDC will hold a media briefing session next Tuesday (19 October) to announce highlights of the fairs and offer insights into the performance of Hong Kong’s export industry as the pandemic continues. The event will also showcase some of the latest innovative tech products from Hong Kong. Media representatives are welcome to take photos of the products highlighted below and interview representatives from the exhibitors.
