Twin Jewellery Fairs to Open Next Week
First Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show Joins 31st Jewellery Show
26 February 2014 – More than 3,800 exhibitors from 52 countries and regions will take part in the first HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show and the 31st HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show. The new “two shows, two venues” arrangement was created to meet the growing demand from exhibitors.
The inaugural Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show, spotlighting loose stones and raw material, will be held, 3-7 March, at AsiaWorld-Expo. Highlights will include the Hall of Fine Diamonds, and the Treasures of Nature, showcasing pearls. Hong Kong SAR Government Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Gregory So will attend the opening ceremony.
The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, 5-9 March, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, will feature the Hall of Extraordinary, with about 130 exhibitors. The Hall of Fame will present nearly 50 international jewellery brands, including French Cerruti 1881 and Waskoll. And the show will once again offer a Small-Order Zone.
A variety of seminars, jewellery parades and networking receptions will take place at the two shows.
