Education & Careers Expo Opens 13 February
Four-Day Expo to Feature Career Days, Overseas Education

6 February 2014 Some 760 educational institutions, professional associations, government organisations and private companies from 18 countries and regions will take part in the 24th HKTDC Education & Careers Expo, 13-16 February, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). A Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) press briefing will be held on 10 February to introduce highlights of the expo. Guests will talk about overseas studies and working holidays, as well as job opportunities in a variety of industries.

The expo will spotlight four study hot-spots: Australia, the Chinese mainland, Europe and the United States. Career theme days will cover banking & finance, building & construction, aviation, and catering & hospitality. The public is welcome to visit the expo.

A variety of government departments and private enterprises will collect job applications at the fairground. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) have arranged for a number of companies to recruit at the HKFYG booth. These will include the Ocean Park Corporation, the Kowloon Motor Bus Co (1933) Ltd, Sa Sa Cosmetic Co Ltd and LF Logistics (Hong Kong) Ltd.
