New Consumer Fair to Feature Quality Products and Fun Activities

14 July 2017 – The inaugural Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will be held 21-25 July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). About 90 exhibitors from Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, Japan and Korea will showcase sports and leisure products as well as services from some 130 brands.

“Stadium Live” is the theme of the first Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo, which features six theme zones: Outdoor Adventure, Sports Hub, Health & Fitness, Photography World, Fun & Play and Handicraft Market. Visitors are welcome to explore the diverse products and activities on offer, as well as exhibitor demo sessions, such as indoor climbing by Just Climb, as well as a spinning challenge and virtual reality (VR) workshops by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. Creative sports stations such as Pool Soccer and Shuffleboard will also be set up at the Expo, where football concept store Futbol Trend will offer football classes and freestyle football performances, and jointly present a “Hall of Fame – Jersey Display” with the HKTDC to exhibit autographed jerseys by football stars such as Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr, Cristiano Ronaldo and more.

The expo will also feature more than 40 on-site activities including sharing sessions with local elite athletes Yvette Kong and Cecilia Yeung, Hong Kong 5,000metre and half-marathon athlete Gi Ka Man, and Hong Kong Athletic Team member Yiu Kit Ching.
