Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair Opens Next Tuesday
800+ Exhibitors Expected at World’s Largest Timepiece Event

1 September 2016 – The HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair, the largest fair of its kind in the world, opens 6 September and continues through 10 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Showcasing more than 800 exhibitors, the fair is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and the Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries Ltd. Gregory So, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong SAR Government, will be the guest of honour at the opening ceremony.

Fair highlights include Salon de TE, spotlighting premium products. Salon de TE returns this year with around 150 luxury brands and includes five thematic zones: World Brand Piazza, Chic & Trendy, Craft Treasure and Renaissance Moment as well as the Wearable Tech zone.

This year the fair introduces a new zone for OEM Smart Watches, catering to growing market demand for smart watches. Salon de TE will open to public visitors on the final day of the fair (10 September). Watch parades and product launches, as well as seminars and conferences will also be held throughout the fair period, with renowned industry leaders taking part.

A special press tour of the fair will be held on Tuesday, 6 September, the first day of the fair, to give the media a look at some of the new zones and interesting brands, such as Invicta, Phantoms and Garmin as well as the SIWP and Swiss Eminence pavilions.
