Masterpieces On Display At World’s Largest Watch & Clock Fair
7 September 2016 – The 35th HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair is underway at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and continues through 10 September. Nicholas Yang, Secretary for Innovation and Technology of the Hong Kong SAR Government joined entrepreneurs and celebrities at last night’s Salon de TE Gala Dinner, a highlight event on the opening day of the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair.
Salon de TE this year features 150 international brands, showcasing a range of premium watch brands and unique designs. Salon de TE will open to public visitors (aged 12 and above) with free admission on Saturday (10 September), the last day of the fair.
More than 30 events, including watch parades, product launches, seminars and networking events are taking place during the fair period to help industry players connect and share market information. Celebrities and artists are also taking part in product launches, including Alex Lee, Lisa Ch’ng, Karena Ng, Wong You-nam, Ma Wing-shing and Marco Fu.
Salon de TE comprises five thematic zones: World Brand Piazza, Chic & Trendy, Craft Treasure, Renaissance Moment and Wearable Tech. This year, a new OEM Smart Watches zone is making its debut, catering to the growing demand of smart watches in the market.

Ring Clock Ring Clock is a design marriage of a ring and a watch, where the watch face is in the ring body. The inner ring is in contact with the finger, while the outer ring rotates to tell the time. When rotating, the outer ring is illuminated at night by LED. Ring Clock is a start-up company that found success through crowd funding.
