HKTDC Education & Careers Expo opens on Thursday
Over 100 exciting events decode industry trends; Multinational corporation share opportunities in Hong Kong
19 January 2026 – The 35th Education & Careers Expo, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), runs from 22 to 25 January at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The Expo brings together over 860 organisations from 23 countries and regions, including government bureaux and departments, tertiary institutions, and education centres, and offers the public a one-stop platform for comprehensive information on further studies and career development. Admission is free.
Under the theme “Go with Your Passion, Go Beyond Limits”, this year’s Expo features two major categories: “Education” and “Careers”, with over 100 seminars, skill-training sessions and interactive experiences in total.
The “Education” section features four major zones including “Local Studies”, “Non-local Education”, “Lifelong Learning”, and “Youth Zone”, and will showcase universities, tertiary institutions, education centres and educational organisations to provide a wide range of consultation services for students and lifelong learners to study in Europe, the United States, Australia and Belt and Road Countries..
In the “Careers” section, a number of government departments and public bodies will participate to share career pathways in public service, including the Airport Authority of Hong Kong, the Civil Service Bureau and the Judiciary. Immediate job interviews are also provided by some employers. Within “Recruitment Square”, the popular CV Clinic also returns with six upgraded services, including one-to-one CV consultations, professional CV portrait photography, an Aptitude Test Ready Station, on-site personal colour analysis, a “16 Personality Types Magic Quiz”, and more.
The Expo will feature four themed days – “Civil Servants & Public Services” (January 22), “Next Gen Technologies” (January 23), “Healthcare & Wellness” (January 24), and “Greater Bay Area Opportunities” (January 25). Over 100 events will be held during the Expo, including themed seminars and exhibitor talks to explore industry trends, career prospects and future skills. Industry leaders and guest speakers will share first-hand insights and their own “dream-chasing” journeys to support students and job seekers and help them discover opportunities in technology, finance, entrepreneurship, and beyond.
We cordially invite you or your representative to cover the Expo. Details are as follows:
