Three major HKTDC trade fairs kick off tomorrow with Toys Fair’s new “Pop & Play” pavilion open to public visitors
Toy premieres and global limited editions launch while Baby Products and Stationery & School Supplies fairs run concurrently
11 January 2026 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is stepping into the new year with the 52nd HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair and 17th HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, running alongside the 24th Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair, co-organised with Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. Dr Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, will be Guest of Honour at the opening ceremony for the concurrent events which run at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 12 to 15 January 2026.
Themed “New Play for All”, the three fairs will showcase innovative toys, infant and child products and a wide range of stationery items, featuring more than 2,600 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions, including new exhibitors from Bangladesh, New Zealand and Norway. More than 200 buying missions from over 40 countries and regions have been invited to source at the fair.
The first major industry event to kickstart the year, the Toys & Games Fair is debuting the new “Pop & Play” pavilion in 2026. Open to trade professionals and the public, the new pavilion brings together some 150 IPs, including a strong lineup of international and local top-tier IPs such as CardFun, CR7® LIFE, Hot Toys, LAURA, Moshow Toys, Play Bonito®, Room One, threezero and TUTU MOKEY, showcasing their latest collections with some even launching “fair premieres” and global limited-edition collectibles. Exhibitor threezero will feature numerous figurines including Transformers MDLX Shockwave, MDLX Thrust and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba FigZero 1/6 Agatsuma Zenitsu, some of which are being exhibited in Hong Kong for the first time. Threezero is also collaborating with Another World, a Hong Kong animated film, to bring the Gudo Vinyl Figure to life. Renowned artists and designers, including b.wing, founder of la b.wing Galerie Ltd, Kenny Wong, creator of the iconic Molly and founder of Brothersfree, Steven Choi, founder of Zu and Pi, and Winson Ma, founder and creative director of Winson Classic Creation, award-winning international illustrator Pen So as well as Jerry Cho, author of Dead End that inspired the popular TV drama Rope A Dope, will share their creative insights and artistic visions through seminars and autograph sessions at “Pop & Play”.

The Happy Ageing label will be introduced at the Toys & Games Fair, allowing buyers to identify toys and related products for seniors, with more than 40 exhibitors adopting the label and showcasing relevant products. The Green Toys zone at the Toys & Games Fair will spotlight various innovative eco-friendly products, including STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) magic sets made from biodegradable materials. Both the Toys & Games Fair and Stationery Fair will use the Green Solutions logo for identification, with over 400 exhibitors displaying the green leaf logo this year – an increase of approximately 10% on last year.
At the Baby Products Fair, the World of Strollers and Gear and ODM Strollers and Gear zones together host approximately 230 exhibitors, an increase in both the number of exhibitors and the fair area compared to last year, presenting a range of high-quality baby strollers, car seats and rockers. The Toys & Games Fair and Baby Products Fair continue to feature the popular Brand Name Gallery, bringing together over 380 well-known brands from around the globe, allowing buyers to source the latest designs and high-quality products from a variety of manufacturers. Jointly organised by the HKTDC and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair will feature the latest school and office supplies, creative art supplies and gift stationery.
On 13 January, the second day of the fair, international experts will discuss the latest industry issues at the Asian Toys and Games Forum, themed “Empowering the Toy Industry for Global Success” in 2026.
