15th Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference opens next Monday

Bringing together global industry leaders to strengthen Hong Kong’s position as an international shipping centre and aviation hub

14 November 2025 – In line with suggestions in the national 15th Five-Year Plan to reinforce Hong Kong’s position as an international shipping centre and to implement policies outlined in the latest Policy Address, the 15th Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) will be held under the theme “Collaboration and Growth in the New Trade Landscape” to drive high-quality development in logistics and supply chain management. The two-day event, co-organised by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will take place on 17 and 18 November (Monday and Tuesday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. It will bring together over 80 key government officials and distinguished speakers from around the world to explore future opportunities in the logistics, maritime and aviation sectors, helping enterprises to deepen international engagement, foster tangible cooperation and proactively “go global” to maximise their potential in markets worldwide.

The opening ceremony on the first day of the conference will feature an address by Sophia Chong, Executive Director of the HKTDC.

John Lee, Chief Executive of the HKSAR, and Almaz Turgunbaev, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, will both deliver Special Addresses on the first day.

This year’s ALMAC will feature around 20 thematic sessions and workshops, covering three key topics including supply chain diversification, sustainability and green energy and innovation and technology.

The keynote forum on Day 1, titled “Steering Business Growth in a New Era of Global Trade”, will examine the ripple effects of evolving trade policies and increasing economic fragmentation. Two newly introduced sessions, “Tapping the Middle East: Logistics, Innovation & Trade Potentials” and “Unlocking Central Asia: The Next Trade and Logistics Frontier”, will delve into the huge prospects and transformation potential in the supply chains and logistics sectors of the Middle East and Central Asia. Additionally, the Green Energy Forum on Day 2, titled “Fuel, Freight, and the Road to Net Zero”, will convene energy suppliers and logistics companies to explore pathways, challenges and opportunities involved in achieving a more sustainable low-carbon future.

This year, the Exhibition at ALMAC will showcase over 90 exhibitors with dedicated zones for Aviation, Low-altitude Economy, Supply Chain Management and Logistics Services, Maritime and Port Services, and Logtech Salon. The conference will also continue with the popular business-matching sessions, connecting service providers with shippers to foster regional partnerships, drive industry growth and underscore Hong Kong’s role as a “superconnector” and “super value-adder”.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony will take place on the first day of the conference, with the HKTDC and Greater Bay Airlines signing a cooperation agreement. The ceremony will take place at 9:45am in the Masterclass zone in Hall 3G. HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Patrick Lau and representatives from the management of Greater Bay Airlines will be present.

Advocated by the Transport and Logistics Bureau in the Action Plan on Modern Logistics Development and jointly organised by the Hong Kong Shippers Council and the Hong Kong Logistics Association, with support from the Hong Kong Logistics Development Council and the HKTDC, the Hong Kong’s NextGen Logistician Award 2025 Presentation Ceremony will feature a speech and award presentation by Liu Chun-san, Under Secretary for Transport and Logistics of the HKSAR Government.
