HKTDC stages four major tech fairs this autumn

Exhibition highlights previewed at upcoming press conference

18 September 2025 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is holding a press conference on Thursday, 25 September where it will introduce highlights from four major electronics and lighting fairs it is organising in October, namely the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition), electronicAsia, Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition), and the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s latest Policy Address proposes to promote artificial intelligence (AI) as a core industry for Hong Kong's development and facilitate an extensive and deep integration of AI across different sectors to achieve “industries for AI” and “AI for industries”. The global electronics industry has been embracing these cutting-edge innovations, with a strong demand for more intelligent AI and electronic devices. This year's Autumn Electronics Fair will showcase electronics trends such as AI and robotics technology, the silver economy and digital entertainment, while also introducing several new exhibition zones. Meanwhile, electronicAsia will feature a comprehensive array of electronic components, parts and related solutions that cater for the diverse needs of the industry.

A globally anticipated industry event, the 2025 Autumn Lighting Fair will feature a series of award-winning designs as well as exhibitors who have contributed to renowned lighting projects by crafting lighting fixtures and control systems. These projects include the World Expo in Yumeshima this year and the transnational bridge project connecting Venezuela and Colombia. The Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will present a wide range of outdoor, commercial and industrial lighting products and technologies, supporting the advancement of smart city development.

The press conference for the four major autumn tech fairs will introduce featured products and activities from each event. Steve Chuang, Chairman of the HKTDC Electronics/Electrical Appliances Industries Advisory Committee, and Alvin Lee, Chairman of the Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association, will share insights on the latest export and market trends and introduce this year’s Symposium on Innovation & Technology, themed “Revive & Thrive.” Numerous exhibitors will join the event to showcase a range of electronic products, innovative solutions and robotics, and discuss strategies to address tariffs, including exploring new markets and shifting production lines.

The physical exhibitions for the 45th Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and 28th electronicAsia will run concurrently from 13 to 16 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The 27th Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) will take place from 27 to 30 October at the HKCEC, while the 10th Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will be held from 28 to 31 October at AsiaWorld-Expo.
