Watch & Clock Fair, Salon de TIME open tomorrow
Media tour featuring participating brands and rare timepieces
1 September 2025 – The 44th HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and the 13th Salon de TIME, co-organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Limited and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries Limited, will be held from 2 to 6 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), under the theme “Our Time Our Moments”. The two fairs will continue to be held in the EXHIBITION+ hybrid model. The AI-driven “Click2Match” business matching platform will be open until 13 September.
The fairs will feature over 650 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair will feature eight specialised zones, including the Pageant of Eternity, which will showcase high-end finished watches manufactured through Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) processes. The other zones include Complete Watches, Clocks, Machinery & Equipment, OEM Smart Watches, Packaging & Display, Parts, Components & Accessories, and Trade Services, providing a one-stop sourcing platform for global buyers.
This year's Salon de TIME will feature over 140 international brands, marking a new post-pandemic high. Open to the public for free, it will feature six themed zones, including the World Brand Piazza, sponsored by Prince Jewellery & Watch for the 15th consecutive year, which showcases limited editions and prestigious timepieces from nine international luxury brands. Other zones include Renaissance Moment, Wearable Tech, Craft Treasure, Chic & Trendy, and a new zone this year, Microbrands, where seven unique niche brands will offer watches that combine value and design appeal.
The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair will host a series of seminars, forums, and networking events for industry professionals, including the Hong Kong International Watch Forum on the first day (2 September) and the Asian Watch Conference on the second day (3 September). Additionally, on the second day, there will be two events centered around the theme of Chinese trends: the Chinese Watchmaking 70th Anniversary: Panel Discussion and Watch Preview, organised by Fosun Watch Group, featuring Sea-Gull and Shanghai Watch, and “To the Stars and Beyond: The Chinese Independent Watchmaking”.
Salon de TIME will also host a variety of special events and watch showcases, to which the public are invited. The 42nd Hong Kong Watch & Clock Design Competition will feature celebrity Bowie Cheung as a guest judge, who will also attend the awards ceremony on 6 September. Shortlisted designs will be exhibited during the fair. Other exciting activities include watch parades and new watch releases, featuring celebrities like Aka Chio, Michael Tong, Kaman Kong, Olympic karate medallists Grace Lau and Ariel Torres, and retired Hong Kong para-badminton player, Daniel Chan. CENTRESTAGE will be held concurrently from 3 to 6 September, bringing together fashion brands and designer collections from around the world. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest products from around 400 watch and fashion brands.
A media tour will be held on the opening day (2 September), where exhibitors will present their latest products and rare watches.
