Food Expo 2025 press conference and media preview offers a feast of highlighted products tomorrow
Tea Fair fully opens to public for the first time
Food Expo PRO, Home Delights Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo and ICMCM will take place concurrently
4 Aug 2025 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will hold a press conference tomorrow, 5 August to unveil details of the 35th Food Expo, 11th Home Delights Expo, 9th Beauty & Wellness Expo, 3rd Food Expo PRO, and 16th Hong Kong International Tea Fair. Programme details about the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products (ICMCM), co-organised by the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association, the HKTDC and ten scientific research institutions, will also be announced.
The five events and the ICMCM will kick off simultaneously on Thursday, 14 August at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, offering a vibrant one-stop destination for food, shopping, entertainment, and exclusive offers. The Food Expo’s Premium Food Zone and Gourmet Zone, will highlight renowned brands and global speciality cuisines. Five themed days: “Shall We Tea?”, “Flavours of Intangible Cultural Heritage”, “Asian Delights”, “Body, Mind and Soul”, and “Taste HK” will all offer engaging performances, demonstrations, workshops, and talks tailored to diverse interests.
At the trade exhibitions, Food Expo PRO will introduce a new Coffee Zone, presenting a rich selection of coffee products and accessories from around the world. Reflecting the growth of Islamic economies, Food Expo PRO will also showcase an expanded selection of halal food products. Meanwhile, the three-day Hong Kong International Tea Fair will, for the first time, welcome all ticketed visitors, providing a broader audience the chance to explore global tea cultures and varieties.
The media preview will offer a taste of highlighted products from the Food Expo and the four concurrent events, including premium Chinese white tea "Ying Xue Ru Chun" Bai Hao Yin Zhen, Sri Lankan purple and speciality teas, Malaysian avocado soy milk, yuan yang coffee capsules, Canadian ice wine tea, award-winning beef noodles, Sichuan pepper milk chocolate, fresh ginger, salted plum lemon honey soda, and other global delicacies.
The Beauty & Wellness Expo will debut a Scentsation Zone, highlighting perfumes, aromatherapy, and related products with engaging fragrant workshops and performances. The Home Delights Expo will present stylish lifestyle brands and home tech, incorporating a Snoopy Hide & Seek photo hunt with exclusive Snoopy 75th anniversary limited edition gifts for visitors.
