Hong Kong Book Fair press conference held tomorrow

Previewing three major events – enjoy culture, sports and leisure and snack experiences with a single ticket

23 June 2025 – The 35th HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will take place from 16 to 22 July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). It will run alongside two other major events open to the public – the HKTDC Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo and the HKTDC World of Snacks. The HKTDC has planned a series of special offers to coincide with the 35th edition of the ever-popular Book Fair, allowing the public to enjoy these three summer fairs with a single ticket and receive various rewards, adding to the enjoyment of this annual literary feast.

The HKTDC will hold a press conference tomorrow (24 June) to unveil highlights of the three fairs, including details of the Book Fair's theme of the year, the World of Art & Culture, the newly introduced Cultural and Creative Products Zone, and the speaker lineup for the Eight Seminar Series. An installation from the World of Art & Culture will be displayed onsite for the first time. As a spotlight event for Hong Kong, the Book Fair will continue to bring together acclaimed Chinese and international authors and renowned speakers to share their insights and creative journeys, supporting the city’s positioning as an east-meets-west centre for international cultural exchange.

This year, the HKTDC will collaborate with M1 Group Limited for the first time to bring the “FIBA 3x3 World Tour Hong Kong 2025” to the HKCEC during the exhibition period. Details of this event will be revealed at the press conference.

The Sports and Leisure Expo will feature a new zone Travel and Tourism in 2025. Exhibitors,  GO PARK Sports from Travel and Tourism zone and Hong Kong Playground Association from the Sports Hub zone, will introduce a variety of sports, leisure and entertainment experiences at the press conference. In addition, exhibitors from the World of Snacks will showcase highlighted products, including stone-ground sesame snacks that received the 2025 Michelin Bib Gourmand and locally brewed craft sodas.
