Twin jewellery shows unveil opportunities at two venues
International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show launches 2 March, International Jewellery Show begins on 4 March
21 February 2025 – The world-class twin jewellery shows organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will open in early March, creating a leading one-stop platform for the global jewellery industry and helping businesses explore new opportunities in the Year of the Snake. The 11th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo from 2 to 6 March, while the 41st Hong Kong International Jewellery Show takes place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai from 4 to 8 March. With the "two shows, two venues” format continuing in 2025, the twin jewellery shows are expected to attract some 4,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions. The theme for the two shows this year is Symphony of Sparkles, reflecting how gemstone carving compares to the arrangement of musical notes as an embodiment of artistic beauty.
The shows will feature 38 geographic and industry pavilions from Mainland China, Taiwan, India, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Türkiye, United Kingdom, Israel, Brazil, Colombia and the United States Türkiye, United Kingdom and the United States and others. In terms of industry pavilions, the Asia Jewellery Culture Design and Crafts Association is joining the show for the first time, leading a group of young designers to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship.
The twin shows not only cater to buyers by bringing together global treasures such as jewellery collections, diamonds, gemstones, jadeite items and pearls, but also gather top-notch designs, innovative ideas and cultural and creative elements from around the world. The overarching goal is to help buyers stay on top of the latest product trends and enhance their competitiveness in the market.
This year, the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show is proud to introduce the Gold Jewellery zone as a new showcase for novel designs. The Young Jewellery Designer Arena has been added for this year’s show to provide up-and-coming designers with the opportunity to showcase their creations. In addition, Designer Jewellery Galleria features exhibitors using filigree inlay technique, China’s intangible cultural heritage, to craft creative products, as well as launching the "Panda and Bamboo" jewellery collection in response to the “panda economy” in Hong Kong, while some exhibitors are presenting snake-themed products that capture the spirit of the Lunar New Year. Given the recent popularity of affordable jewellery, men’s jewellery and unisex jewellery, exhibitors will be showcasing fashionable pieces suitable for smart daily wear along with gender-neutral designs.
