5 January 2025 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) kicks off 2025 with the 51st HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair and 16th HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, along with the 23rd Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair, co-organised with Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd., and held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 6 to 9 January 2025. Algernon Yau, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, will be Guest of Honour at the opening ceremony.

Themed “New Play for All”, the three fairs will feature more than 2,500 exhibitors from 34 countries and regions, including diverse group pavilions from local, Mainland China, Taiwan, Korea and Europe. More than 200 buying missions from over 40 countries and regions have been invited to source at the fair.

The Asia flagship Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair offers several themed zones for easy sourcing. There are significant increases in the space of two major zones, the Electronic and Remote Control Toys zone is increased by more than 40%, while the Educational Toys & Games zone is increased by 7%. The Green Toys zone will showcase innovative eco-products while “Green Leaf” labels will help to facilitate buying. The Toys Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong and FHKI Group 19 (Hong Kong Toys Council) will present the first ESG pavilion, to showcase several toys incorporating Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) elements, including products made entirely from eco-friendly or recycled materials.

Toys & Games Fair meets the needs of different age groups. Kidult World presents collectible toys, models, figurines and more especially for adults who are still young at heart. The Smart-Tech Toys and Games zone brings together technology toys and games controlled via apps, incorporating virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), or mixed reality (MR) technologies.

The Toys and Games Fair comes with an impressive lineup of group pavilions, including delegations from Mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, and "World of Toys" established by Spielwarenmesse eG, which brings together selected European exhibitors. The Hong Kong Brand Toy Association (HKBTA) pavilion once again promotes local innovative industries and branded toys to international buyers at the toy fair.

The Brand Name Gallery at Toys & Games Fair and Baby Products Fair gathers more than 380 renowned brands of toys and baby products, facilitating buyers in purchasing the latest designs and high-quality products from major brands.

The Baby Products Fair gathers diverse baby products and sees several group pavilions returning, including the Korean Pavilion, and the Hong Kong Children, Babies, Maternity Industries Association pavilion. The Selection of Europe pavilion, which made its debut last year, features the Baby Products Industry Association from the United Kingdom, participating in the fair for the first time to bring in more quality European baby items. The brand-new Zhejiang Zhili pavilion presents high-quality infant and children's clothing.

Co-organised by the HKTDC and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair organisers will continue to cooperate with renowned industry associations in different regions, including China Stationery and Sporting Goods Association, Malaysia Stationery Importers And Exporters Association and The Federation of Stationers And Booksellers Association of Malaysia.

On 7 January, the second day of fair, the Asian Toys and Games Forum will be held.
