5 November 2024 – Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and co-organised by the Hong Kong Optical Manufacturers Association (HKOMA), the 32nd Hong Kong International Optical Fair will be held from 6 to 8 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Under the theme of Seeing is Believing, more than 700 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions will take part in this year’s Fair, presenting a wide range of innovative eyewear products and services and reflecting four major themes - technology, lifestyle, functionality, and sustainability.

This year’s Optical Fair will feature a number of group pavilions, including Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, as well as the Visionaries of Style and HKOMA Pavilion. Pavilions from cities in Mainland China, including Danyang in Jiangsu, Jiaojiang in Zhejiang, Shenzhen in Guangdong and Yingtan in Jiangxi will also feature. The Fair will feature product displays across many categories including Smart Eyewear, Contact Lenses & Accessories, Designer Cafe, Sporting & Professional Eyewear, Kids Eyewear & Reading Glasses, Lenses, Frames & Parts, Eyewear Accessories, Diagnostic Instruments, as well as Optometric Instruments, Equipment & Machinery.

A focal point of the Fair, the Brand Name Gallery, will showcase over 200 renowned global brands. Among the featured brands are Hong Kong’s own Big Horn and Taiwan’s CLASSICO. Other notable brands include Rosie Allan from Australia; MINIMA from France; STEPPER from Germany; FRANCO FERRARO from Italy; PLUME from Korea; Nano Vista from Spain; Pepe Jeans, Taylor Morris London, Ted Baker, and Vivienne Westwood from the United Kingdom; Anna Sui from the United States and more. During the Fair, professional models will present a series of eyewear parades, highlighting the latest trends.

The winning and finalist entries of the 24th Eyewear Design Competition co-organised by the HKTDC and HKOMA will be on display. In addition to showcasing the latest products from leading exhibitors, the Fair will feature a series of product promotions, conferences, seminars, and an award presentation ceremony for the Hong Kong Eyewear Design Competition. These events will enable attendees to stay updated on the latest industry developments.
