Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference to open in mid-November

Supporting development of Hong Kong as an international shipping centre

 

28 October 2024 －Following recent government announcements to strengthen the logistics and shipping industry, the 14th Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC), co-organised by the Hong Kong SAR (HKSAR) Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will be held on 18-19 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

 

The HKTDC will hold a media briefing on 5 November to introduce the conference. Stephen Liang, Assistant Executive Director of the HKTDC, will share highlights of this year’s conference. Frankie Yick, Chairman of the HKTDC Logistics Services Advisory Committee and Legislative Council Member (Functional Constituency - Transport), will discuss the latest developments in Hong Kong's shipping industry. Wilson Kwong, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited, and Gary Lau, Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, will share on the recent opportunities and trends in the shipping, air transport and logistics sectors.
