Watch & Clock Fair, Salon de TE open next Tuesday
Media tour will offer a sneak peek of the highlighted timepieces
30 August 2023 – The 42nd HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and 11th Salon de TE, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries Ltd, runs from 5 to 9 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Under the integrated EXHIBITION+ format, online editions started yesterday and run until 16 September.
The two fairs will assemble more than 700 global exhibitors from 17 countries and regions, showcasing a wide variety of watches, clocks and related products. The Watch Fair will host multiple forums and seminars, including the Hong Kong International Watch Forum (5 September) and Asian Watch Conference (6 September). Fair activities will include watch parades, product launches, an embroidery timepiece demonstration and buyer forums.
The 40th Hong Kong Watch & Design Competition, co-organised by the HKTDC, the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries, will hold its awards ceremony on 9 September at Hall 3F, Infinite Galaxy. All winning and shortlisted works will be exhibited at Hall 1B Concourse. Artist Jessica Hsuan was invited as a guest judge this year.
Salon de TE will present more than 130 prominent watch brands and designer collections from France, Switzerland, Italy, the United States and more. The event will feature five main thematic zones: Chic & Trendy, Craft Treasure, Renaissance Moment, Wearable Tech and the World Brand Piazza sponsored by Prince Jewellery & Watch for the 13th consecutive year, showcasing luxury wristwatches from 10 international brands. Salon de TE will be open to industry buyers and the public for shopping on the last two days, 8 and 9 September.
Prominent fashion event CENTRESTAGE runs concurrently at the HKCEC from 6 to 9 September, bringing together fashion brands and designer collections from around the world, creating synergies and more cross-industry business opportunities.
