Food Expo and concurrent August fairs debut on Thursday
2023 preview tomorrow
16 August 2023 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host a media preview tomorrow, Wednesday 16 August, on the eve of three fairs – HKTDC Food Expo, HKTDC Beauty & Wellness Expo and HKTDC Home Delights Expo – as well as the HKTDC Hong Kong International Tea Fair and brand new Food Expo PRO.
The five fairs, featuring more than 1,800 exhibitors, open at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday, 17 August. The International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products (ICMCM), organised by the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIA) together with the HKTDC and eight scientific research institutions, will run concurrently on 17 and 18 August.
Exhibitors will unveil specialty F&B from around the world at the media preview, including Spanish churros, Kenyan purple tea and Korean prebiotics rice wine. Tasting sessions will be arranged. The preview will feature select products from the Home Delights Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo, Food Expo PRO and Tea Fair.

Note:
- Media representatives should present their business cards and press cards at the Press Registration Counter (Hall 1D Concourse) or the HKTDC Media Centre (G/F, HKCEC, 1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai) to collect their press pass.
- A press area will be set up at the back of the Expo Drive entrance. Organiser recommends photojournalists use telephotographic lens for shooting.
- Please note: Due to the large number of media friends’ presence, each radio channel/television station is kindly requested to assign up to four and each online media up to two representatives to attend each event.
