Food Expo 2023 media preview tomorrow
Showcasing all-new Food Expo PRO and other August events
7 August 2023 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is holding a press conference tomorrow, 8 August to announce our exciting August fairs.
This includes three large scale of public exhibitions: the 33rd HKTDC Food Expo, the 9th HKTDC Home Delights Expo, and the 7th HKTDC Beauty & Wellness Expo, as well as two trade shows: the all-new Food Expo PRO and the 14th HKTDC Hong Kong International Tea Fair.
The preview will also feature the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM), which is organised by the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association (MCMIA) together with the HKTDC and eight major scientific research institutions.
The five exhibitions and ICMCM will open on Thursday, 17 August at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). This year's Food Expo will be fully open to catering and will feature multiple exhibition zones and offer a wide range of F&B. The Premium Food Zone and the Gourmet Zone in the public hall will showcase renowned brands and specialty F&B from around the world. The Gourmet Zone will feature a new theme "Wine Whisky Wonderland," bringing together fine wines and spirits from around the world. A special K-Food zone is set up to showcase the latest products from Korea.
The media preview of the Food Expo, Food Trade Expo and the three exhibitions, will feature select products, such as the first hand-brewed truffle milk tea in Hong Kong, fruit-flavored paccheri pasta made from Italian wheat flour and fresh fruit puree, lobster soup with crispy rice and spicy beef offal instant meal packs as well as locally brewed non-alcoholic beer. Home Delights Expo and the Beauty & Wellness Expo will showcase a variety of products, including household electronic products, beauty and fitness products, and more.
