Hong Kong Book Fair reveals highlights
Press conference will unveil exciting content in upcoming fairs
28 June 2023 – Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 33rd HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair runs from 19 to 25 July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Celebrating the first Book Fair held since international travel fully resumed, the HKTDC has invited renowned writers to attend and share their writing experiences in person. A number of cultural events will be organised to facilitate cultural exchange and promote reading culture. The HKTDC Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo and HKTDC World of Snacks will run concurrently at the HKCEC. Visitors can enjoy three very different experiences on a single ticket.
The Sports and Leisure Expo will offer a diverse range of sports and leisure brands, products, and experiences, while the World of Snacks will assemble popular candies, nostalgic treats and healthy party foods from around the world, letting visitors sample snacks at the fair.
The HKTDC is holding a press conference on the three fairs tomorrow (Thursday, 29 June) to introduce the Book Fair’s theme of the year, highlights from the fair's Art Gallery, the author line-up for the Eight Seminar Series, and featured events at the Sports and Leisure Expo and World of Snacks. Several featured Art Gallery exhibits will be on display and selected exhibitors from the Sports and Leisure Expo and World of Snacks will introduce products and services. Product demos include skateboarding class from Seeds Skateboarding Institutions; Brazilian Jujitsu class, Kalis class and fitness training from Kratos; Board games from Ha! Design Studio and Eco Sneakers from Gazelle. For snack products, there will be Korean handmade FAT macarons and cold-brew bullet coffee from Kim Hyun; crispy chicken skin, frozen coconut ball and ice pop from MM3.
