Inaugural International Healthcare Week opens in November
Asia Summit on Global Health and Hong Kong International
Medical and Healthcare Fair held concurrently
30 October 2022 – The debut International Healthcare Week, coordinated by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will run from 1 to 15 November, featuring two anchor events: the 2nd Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH), co-organised by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the HKTDC, and the 13th HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair. The events will be held concurrently at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), encompassing up-to-downstream healthcare industry chains such as technology research and development, investment matching, medical device manufacturing, medical and healthcare products, and more. The two anchor events will create a holistic platform to promote Hong Kong's strategic role as a leading Asian healthcare industry innovation and investment centre and create synergies for industry professionals.
This year’s Asia Summit on Global Health will be staged from 10 to 11 November. The first day will be held physically at the HKCEC with livestreaming on the online platform, while the second day will be entirely virtual. Under the theme “Charting a New Course in Healthcare through Collaboration”, the summit brings together all the stakeholders – from healthcare experts to renowned academia and influential business leaders, together with key industry players, innovative start-ups, investors and policymakers from around the world – to exchange insights, explore opportunities and collaborate in the diverse and dynamic healthcare sector.
The 2022 Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair, running from 9 to 11 November at the HKCEC, will gather more than 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies in various zones, including Biotechnology, Hospital Equipment, Rehabilitation and Elderly Care, and World of Health and Wellness.
