28 September 2022 – Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the autumn editions of five technology fairs – the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition), electronicAsia, International ICT Expo, Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) and Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo – will be introduced at a press conference tomorrow (29 September). Jenny Koo, Assistant Executive Director of the HKTDC, Tony Wong, Deputy Government Chief Information Officer, and Victor Choi, Chairman of the Hong Kong Electronics and Technologies Association, will reveal the highlight products and key activities from the fairs as well as sharing insights into the industry’s current export performance and the latest market trends. Media friends can enjoy a sneak peek of various smart products and technology solutions that will be exhibited at the fairs.
The five technology fairs will be held in the HKTDC’s brand-new hybrid format Exhibition+ that combines physical events with an online platform. The physical editions will run concurrently from 13 to 16 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Starting from a week before the shows open until 23 October, exhibitors and buyers can consider AI-generated business-matching suggestions or proactively search for and invite counterparts to video business meetings via HKTDC’s Click2Match platform. The online exhibitions will continue until 12 November, enabling enterprises to continue exploring business opportunities.
A plethora of innovative products and high technology solutions will be on show at the fairs, giving buyers a better understanding of the latest market trends and cutting-edge technologies. The International ICT Expo brings together various well-known exhibitors, start-ups and research and development centres. Other highlights of the expo include the two pavilions, “Smart Government Pavilion” and “Hong Kong Innovation Pavilion” under the theme “Smarter Hong Kong”, organised by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
