Watch & Clock Fair and Salon de TE return in September

Events help SMEs expand business opportunities in hybrid mode

29 August 2022 – The 41st HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and 10th Salon de TE, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will launch next month in the HKTDC’s brand-new EXHIBITION+ model that integrates physical shows with an online platform. The physical fairs run from 7 to 11 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), while the online editions are open until 18 September, helping Hong Kong’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) expand their businesses in an increasingly digitalised world and gain access to new trade channels and business deals.

Over the years, the Watch & Clock Fair has been an indispensable platform for industry insiders to source quality timepieces and secure business opportunities. Meanwhile, Salon de TE showcases precious collections of exquisite watches and horological products that are renowned across the globe. The five-day exhibitions at the HKCEC not only welcome manufacturers and buyers but also the general public, offering watch lovers the chance to enjoy the magnificent craftsmanship on display and shop for fine timepieces at the same time.

A press conference will be held tomorrow (30 August) to introduce highlights of the shows, including highlighted products and fair events. A special parade will feature models wearing local designer outfits from the upcoming CENTRESTAGE fashion event, matched with some of the finest watches on show at the fairs. Several distinguished watches will be revealed, such as the four tailor-made tourbillon watches ANPASSA designed for outstanding athletes, including Olympic gold medallists Yang Qian and Wang Yifu. Another highlight is Memorigin’s

So Wa Wai Series tourbillon watch designed for So Wa-wai, the track-and-field athlete who garnered six Paralympic gold medals, and his mother.

Other watches to be featured at the press conference include renowned Swiss brand Romago’s 18K Gold Luminfusion Carbon Gold. A new project promoting the creations of young Hong Kong watch designers will also be introduced to the media.
