Five parallel August events to showcase food, home delights beauty and wellness, tea and Chinese medicine

1 August 2022 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is holding a media preview on 2 August (Tomorrow) to announce details and highlights of four public exhibitions running simultaneously in August, namely the 32nd HKTDC Food Expo, the eighth HKTDC Home Delights Expo, the sixth HKTDC Beauty & Wellness Expo, and the 13th HKTDC Hong Kong International Tea Fair. Information will also be provided on the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM) organised by the International Association of Modern Chinese Medicine together with the HKTDC and eight scientific research institutions.

The four exhibitions and the ICMCM all open on 11 August (Thursday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The overarching theme for the four public events is "Living a New Style". The Food Expo will feature a number of zones showcasing food and beverage products from around the world. The Premium Food Zone and Gourmet Zone will exhibit a wide range of products from renowned brands and international best cuisines. Beer Cheers is a new theme in the Gourmet Zone, featuring quality beers from a number of local craft breweries.

The preview session will give media friends an opportunity to learn more about the Food Expo and the three concurrent exhibitions, including highlighted products such as the collector’s item Mazinger Z 50th anniversary limited-edition red wine, exclusive Spanish sliced dried wagyu beef, unique ice-cold matured coffee, hand-made chocolate mooncakes and plant-based “crab cakes” for vegetarians.
