HKTDC Education & Careers Expo Opens Next Month
Press Conference to Reveal Latest Intelligence on Study and Workplace

18 January 2018870 educational institutions, professional associations, government organisations and private companies from 21 countries and regions will offer the latest information on education and career prospects at the 28th HKTDC Education & Careers Expo, which will run from 1 to 4 February at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The expo is open to public and free of charge.

The expo will spotlight daily Education and Careers theme days. New career themes this year include Arts and Culture, Banking and Finance, as well as Civil and Public Services, while the popular Electrical and Mechanical theme day returns to the show. The education theme days will feature a number of international study hot-spots: Chinese mainland, United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, presenting different education systems and characteristics, as well as study environments.

The expo will also provide many employment opportunities, with close to 2,400 job openings. A variety of government departments and private enterprises will collect job applications at the fairground.

Over 100 activities will be held during the expo, offering practical information to students and job-seekers. Career experts will share workplace insights and tips on further studies.

A press conference will be held by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) on 25 January (Thursday) to introduce the highlights of this year’s Education & Careers Expo. Guests will present the latest information on creative education, pre-employment and on-the-job training. Demand for human resources and prospects in popular and emerging industries will also be analysed.
