Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair Set For November
Fair Highlights and Wine Tasting on Offer at Press Conference
8 October 2015 – More than 1,000 exhibitors from about 30 countries and regions will take part in the HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair from 5 to 7 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The fair will showcase a wide variety of wine, spirits and other alcoholic beverages, along with wine accessories and equipment. There will also be a strong focus on wine-related services, investment, logistics and training.
Portugal, this year’s Partner Country, will bring more than 40 exhibitors to the fair and conduct a number of wine-tasting sessions. The seventh edition of the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition Award Presentation Ceremony will take place during the fair. Special wine and spirits on show at the fair will include Portugal’s Sogrape Vinhos, which wears the title of “2015 Best Wine Producer Worldwide”; Château le Puy from France, which is aged at sea for 10 months during a sailing trip around the Atlantic; and the famous whisky from Japan, Mars Maltage. There will also be special wines and spirits from such countries as Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Georgia and Moldova.
A press conference featuring more than 25 participating exhibitors will be held on 15 October to introduce fair highlights and preview some of the products.
