Medical Devices & Supplies Fair Opens This Month
Press Conference to Preview Fair, Showcase Latest Products

5 May 2015 – The sixth HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and co-organised by the Hong Kong Medical and Healthcare Device Industries Association (HKMHDIA), opens on 18 May and continues through 20 May at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

The event is expected to attract around 240 exhibitors from 10 countries and regions, providing a unique platform for buyers to source the latest medical and health-related technology, equipment, devices and supplies. Sector-specific fair zones include “Hospital Equipment”, “Medical Cosmetology”, “Physiotherapy” and “Rehabilitation and Elderly Care”.

A press conference will be held next Tuesday (12 May) to announce details of the three-day fair. Selected fair products will also be on show, including:

·         3D printer for medical-related aids and components

·         Automated textile management system which provides real-time inventory status

·         Multi-function stair-climbing powered wheelchair

·         Wireless remote-controlled pain relief device which specifically targets lower back pain

·         Advanced nanofibre materials for bio and healthcare applications
